About

Joel Solomonson is an Oakland based wood craftsman who designs and builds custom furniture and cabinetry for residential and commercial clients.  Joel developed his skills while earning his Master of Fine Arts degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art under the influences of Charles and Ray Eames and Eliel Saarinen.  He continues to develop his aesthetic while collaborating with designers and architects and working directly with clients in the bay area and abroad.  Utilizing sustainable design and materials to create unique, contemporary pieces, Joel’s focus is on craftsmanship producing works of exceptional quality.
